Comment: Purchased this for my 9-year-old grandson, and he really loves it. He's already made slides of the inside of his mouth, nose, etc. He found out the mouth has the yuckiest germs. Such fun for a young boy, who likes yucky things.

Summary: Makes a Gooey Mess
Comment: I bought this for my 11 year old daughter based on all the excellent reviews, but it's not that great, in her opinion. Some of the recipes/mixes do not even make a firm enough slime to pick up, just a bowl of gooey glop.
And after making two types of slime, she ran out of ingredients. So that's not too much fun for $17+.

Comment: My 9 year old son got this for Christmas. He had requested a "science set", so this was Santa's interpretation. I was a little scared that it was going to be a flop or that it was not going to be what he was thinking, but he loves it! We were mixing up slime on Christams morning! The directions are very easy to follow. Everything you need is in the kit. There are alternative directions for mixing one of the main ingredients that you use for all the slimes that calls for rubbing alcohol, but other than that, it has it all. Everything is clearly labeled. So far we've made the magnetic slime and the color changing slime and I've been very impressed. Very fun,easy and educational.
