Jam Factory, Adelaide
Located in Adelaide’s West End, The Jam Factory (properly JamFactory Contemporary Craft and Design) is a world-renowned contemporary craft and design centre and retail outlet with a focus on South Australian artists and having four major artistic directions (Ceramics, Furniture, Metal and Glass). In May 2005, the Jam Factory hosted 1000 glassmakers from 25 countries for the 35th Glass Arts Society (GAS) conference, the first in the southern hemisphere.
Opened in 1974, and relocating to the west end of Adelaide in 1991, the unique complex has three design studios, two galleries and a retail outlet.
